General Rules & Guidelines for Dance Classes 2024/2025

Welcome to Jenny Strandberg Creative! We are thrilled to have you join our dance classes and be part of our vibrant community. To ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have outlined our Class Guidelines and Cancellation Policy below. By participating in our classes, you agree to these terms.

General Rules & Guidelines for Dance Classes

Respect and Inclusion

At Jenny Strandberg Creative, we believe in creating a positive and inclusive environment for all participants:

• Treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of their background, skill level, or identity. Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and we hold the right to remove any inappropriately behaving customers from our classes.

Class Filming Policy

• Filming is allowed only during a designated time at the end of the class.

• Our dancers often film themselves to track their development and share their progress perhaps on social media. Please inform the instructor before the session begins if you would not like to be recorded.

Health, Safety, and Liability

• Listen to your body and avoid pushing yourself beyond your physical limits. You’re always welcome to share with the instructor before class if you have any injuries, limitations, or health concerns that would be important to consider when practicing dance. However, we trust that you know best what your body needs.

• Liability Disclaimer: Jenny Strandberg Creative is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, personal loss, or damages that may occur during the class. Participation is at your own risk. Personal health or accident insurance is highly recommended.

• Wear suitable footwear and attire for the class style and keep the dance floor clear of personal items to maintain a safe space.

Studio Etiquette

• Arrive on time. Warm-ups are a critical part of the session to prevent injuries and set the tone for the class.

• Follow the instructor’s guidance to ensure a cohesive and productive class experience for everyone.

Booking and Attendance

• Spaces are limited, so please book in advance to secure your spot.

• For cancellations, please refer to the Cancellation Policy below.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and you may need to cancel a class. Since our classes have limited spots, we kindly ask you to notify us as soon as possible via the contact options below to allow someone else to take your place.

For Drop-In Classes

• Cancellations made more than 4 hours before class: You may reschedule the class or receive a refund.

• Cancellations made less than 4 hours before class: The class fee will be retained as a late cancellation fee.

For Monthly Pass Holders

• Cancellations made more than 4 hours before class: You can reschedule the missed class within the same month (subject to availability).

• Cancellations made less than 4 hours before class: The class is counted as attended and cannot be rescheduled.
